Corporate bullies are the worst

Been in contact with Vodacom since the 31st January 2017 to resolve an item on my bill that I did not incur. What makes it worse is that this is billed to my Vodacom account but is from some outside subscription service that I know nothing about. I called Vodacom right away to report it and then requested that all future correspondence be in writing so that I have a record of what transpires. I don't believe it's fair that these corporate companies have all the recordings etc and we as consumers have no proof whatsoever of what is said in our correspondence. This however is proving to be a very difficult task indeed. Even though I have expressly requested written correspondence, Vodacom insists on calling me but I will not answer those calls because then I will have no record of the conversations. The written correspondence has been even more trying and verifies everything I am saying in this complaint.

At this point, correspondence has come to a dead halt as I have had no response whatsoever to my last e-mail sent on the 01st April. However, the item remains on my bill as Vodacom has decided that whatever I say on the matter is irrelevant and would rather believe these ************ outsiders that just bill people at their own discretion. I am tach savvy enough to know about these ************ subscription services and there is no way what so ever that we "accidentally" subscribed to one of them. These sms messages are immediately deleted without even being opened so how an "accidental" subscription would have happened I don't know. I take huge exception that my contract and bill with Vodacom is allowed to be billed for things without my express permission and especially if I have absolutely no control over the matter! Now, no-one at Vodacom seems to care or wants to listen to & understand my side of the story. Instead, my account has been blocked because of this and that is what corporate bullies do, isn't it...they just block your service whether they are in the wrong or not.

My experience in dealing with Vodacom in this matter has been long and horrid through a whole chain of people so I am not sure if Customer Service people actually know the meaning of the term at all. It has become evident that the correspondence is not read properly and thus the issue is not understood. The responses I do get are therefore irrelevant and unsatisfactory and the issue remains unresolved. I now remain without service and who knows how many more months this will continue before a satisfactory resolution is reached.

Thank you, I was contacted. However, my phones remain blocked even though a refund is being processed for the never subscribed to subscription service which has absolutely nothing to do with my Vodacom account. What I owe to Vodacom is paid & up to date so why are you blocking my service???

OMG - I have just called Vodacom to follow up & now suddenly after 3 months no record of the complaint can be found but my account remains blocked!!! Although this began on the 31st January I am now back to the beginning of explaining it all to a new person & each time I follow up this process goes around on repeat for 3 months - I think ,my blood pressure is so sky high that I might just have a freaking heart attack on the spot
