CONTREVENTION OF CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT

i had called in today to the cancellations department being the 4/02/2015 @ 3.50pm (call to be sourced and listened to) , spoke to a lady named Myalleng Mohlodi, explained that i need to pay up my account immediately, this is due to the excessive data and running costs i believe Vodacom is exploiting us as consumers. The lady mentioned went ahead with the security check and had asked me extremely personal and private financial questions stating that due to ***** in her department managment have decided to now pose questions based your credit bureau, which to my surprise i had questioned her and even though i was reluctant to answer i had to, to get the information i needed,
I have not given Vodacom any authroity whatsoever to access my bureau profile, the consultant openly mentioned ***** and now has all my personal details, what comfort do i have?? what protection do i have? This is a direct contrevention of the consumer act and will impact my credit scoring, it would be a different case if i were applying for a new device etc. i have sought advices from the CPA, bodies and legal council which i will be persuing matter further.

i am not sure why i have been with them so long.
