Contravention of the POPI Act and allowing an upgrade without proof of identification

My contract was upgraded without my knowledge by a person I do not know. Vodacom allowed a person to purchase a new handset without proof of identification. The handset was delivered in Cape Town while I reside in Gauteng. I am unhappy that my personal details were compromised and given to an unauthorised third party.
