Contracts amended without me being informed, now I'm paying more to receive less
Signed a 24 month uncapped home lte contract less than 2 years ago and Vodacom changed the contract to a capped contract with a low FUP and increased the price. Now I'm paying more to get less even though we have a 24 month contract for you to provide a certain service at a certain price.

1. What is the use of signing a contract if 1 party can choose to increase their service fee and the other party cannot do anything other than just pay the increase? My contract was increased by 8% which is higher than inflation.
2. How was my contract moved from an uncapped lte contract to a 600gb caped contract with a FUP of under 200gb? The speed is so restricted that I struggle to open basic apps like the My Vodacom App.
I signed a 24 month contract and things were changed to benefit Vodacom, when I enquired about cancelling this contract that was unfairly amended I was advised that I'd have to pay almost R2000 to cancel the contract. I was happy with the contact that I signed 18 months ago, in not happy with the changes that took place during the contract and now I need to pay a penalty because I do not agree with the changes that
Vodacom made to a CONTRACT? I do not see the purpose of signing a contract if only 1 party is allowed to make changes and the other party is forced to pay a cancelation fee/ penalty if they do not agree to the changes.
