Contract Upgrade Introduced with no Handset etc
After two visits and five incomplete e-mailed quotations (incomplete in the sense that the requested specification of an iPhone was consistently not responded to), an upgrade contract was initiated by Vodacom. This, irrespective of not providing me with a handset and mobile data device!

On 28 March a quotation (dated the 27th) was, on my request, being contracted for, when I was informed that the quote is not valid anymore (a day later). I requested an alternate handset option and the upgrade process was started. However I then read the provided contract, before signature, that, inter alia, stated that a quote is valid for 14 days. Then I did not sign the contract and requested Vodacom to honor the quote as provided.

The Vodacom staff member then informed me that he (in the Vodacom system at his disposal) cancelled the upgrade, destroyed the draft contract before me and then left to communicate with \the head of corporate sales". He returned and informed me that I will be contacted by her and that she will \""offer me a much better deal on both the handset and the mobile data device\"".

Since"
