contract that i dont even have

so i wake up this morning to get a notification that a debit order of R303 has been debited on my account which the reference says its vodacom and the funny part is I've never been a vodacom customer. i called the contract call center and they confirmed that the is a contract under my name which i dont know off and they say i should send them documents so my question is why must i now be inconvenienced for something i dont even know? i have to go to the police station for what cause i'm telling them i don't have an account with them? so now i have to pay a bank charge for a debit order i never authorized.
