Contract phone faulty
I took out a contract with Vodacom for an iPhone 13 Pro in June and in that same month, 2nd week I returned in as the battery was and still is draining super fast and calls just cut and makes funny noise like a radio with no signal. I have switched all auto updates and all that runs in the background like my location and all but still sitting with the same problem. I have done software updates and nothing changed. I went to Vodacom 4times to report it prior to them sending it to their Advanced Repairs Centre.
It was eventually taken to this centre and I was for over three weeks without a phone I’m paying close to R2000 on a monthly basis, Vodacom didn’t even give me a decent phone to use in the meantime. The phone came back worse than before, draining super fast, still cutting every call I receive and oh did I mention my phone had been wiped clean without my consent and on their report they only have changed the screen and did a software update which is a ****en lie because I had done an update days before it had been taken in for repairs. It’s been weeks now running back and forth and fighting with these guys and now they don’t want to give me a new iphone 13pro Because this one came with factory faults instead they request it to be taken in again to this ARC that didn’t do what they were supposed to do in the first place. So I’m once more expected to send the phone to them and stay more weeks with no phone and they don’t want to cancel the contract as well This is really appalling and I honestly regret not going to a different cellphone dealer
