Contract period dispute with proof of purchase & contract acceptance

This matter refers to:-

Respective contract expired and lapsed over to a month-to-month contract. I decided to upgrade this contract on the 10/07/2016 to a 24 month contract.

I sent an e-mail to the Service Provider on the 01/07/2018 giving them notice to terminate the contract when the contract period expired on 31/08/2018.

The Service Provider did not terminate the contract and kept on billing me. Note that I have not used any services on this contract during this time because of the dispute. I followed up numerous times with various reference numbers, e-mail correspondence and telephone calls with no success in resolving the termination of this contract. According to the Service Provider, the contract only expires in 2019 and I indicated that I do not agree and forwarded them copies of the proof of purchase/invoice and approved signed upgrade quotation dated 10/07/2016. The Service Provider informed me that they work according to the information they received from their Service Provider and I informed them that the client can not take responsibility if their Service Provider did not honor their supply agreement and forwarded the contract documents late. Note that the Service Provider debited my bank account every month.

The Service Provider has till date not terminated the contract nor refunded me for the cancelled months and still debits my account, nor given me any sustainable feedback despite the fact that I have warned them that I will contact the Ombudsman and other sources to take this matter legally further should this matter not be resolved.

This matter has now been unresolved for almost 6 months.
