CONTRACT NOT YET CANCELLED/MIGRATED???

I ask you FRIENDLY, BUT VERY URGENTLY to have a look on Your System!!!!

REFERENCE NUMBER:
1-***4

I had a TOP UP ACCOUNT that expired at the end of April/May 2016. Your policy is that if one doesn't cancel or upgrade the existing contract, it go on from month to month.

At the 29th of October I phoned ********** , to CANCEL MY CONTRACT, because I need to go on PREPAID.
I am a pensioner with very little income every month.

I waited 15 minutes before I was answered. A person named MASILO helped me in a very unfriendly way, when I asked a Reference number, after I have requested to cancel my contract. He said it will be done and end the call immediately, without giving me a Reference number.

I phoned ********** AGAIN and after waiting 7 minutes, my call has been answered, by WANDI, who helped me in a very friendly manner.

After explaining everything AGAIN, she did the security check and gave me the above mentioned REFERENCE NUMBER.

She said that I must switch off my phone on the 31st of October and switch it on after 24 hours. That is on the 1st of November.

She said that I will be on PREPAID THEN, as requested!!

I did all that. On the 1st of November after 24 hours, I switched my phone ON, go to the BANK to cancel my DEBIT ORDER with Vodacom.

From previous experience in dealing with VODACOM, also struggled to get issue resolved, I went to the bank to cancel the debit order before Vodacom could sneak in another debit or 2 which they usually do.

After that I directly went to the Vodashop, explained everything and asked PROOF of my CANCELLATION.

They gave me a PRINTOUT where the above mentioned Reference number and request reflect.

Since then I have been troubled with all sorts of communication from VODACOM, wanting me to PAY the ARREARS AMOUNT!!!

I PHONED 111 ON 15 November, spoke to MARCIA, that put me through to other agents, waiting 50 minutes, explaining the situation to several of your employees.

Then I spoke to GIFT. He said that the above mentioned Reference number and my request for cancellation, IS on the system, but SOMEBODY WITHIN VODACOM CANCELLED MY REQUEST!!!

I AM VERY, VERY UPSET with this matter, as it is not the FIRST TIME that I have TROUBLE to SOLVE a matter with VODACOM.
