Contract not closed after 6 months of being paid up!
I had a contract with Vodacom, which was paid off and closed out as far as l know at the end of April 2019. The contract number was migrated to prepaid and has been functioning as such for over 5 months.
Amazingly, my credit report shows l still have an active account with Vodacom, with a balance of -R700. I was not aware of this. Upon trying to contact vodacom cancellations, a ‘no so willing to assist’ consultant gives me an attitude and when l ask for her name, she hangs up.
This is the second bad experience with vodacom contracts department l have had in less than 6 months and it is not a good reflection on the company’s functioning.
