Contract nonsense.

I have a laptop contract with vodacom which came with 3 gigs of data. I gave the sim to my nephew so he can use the data and somehow he started buying things with the sim and that charged me a lot of money. I called vodacom and told them to close everything and they did now my sim card will not be used to do anything that will charge me extra, but no that was not it. A data sim card was on an open contract for calls and this time it was my sister in law who used the sim card to make calls thinking they are minutes and I am charged again on the same sim that was no longer supposed to charge me for anything extra. I am very disappointed with vodacom and wish I can just close all my contracts with them. I have been a good costomer but now I think there is a lot things without security when it comes to their contracts. How can a data sim card card be open for calls?

Dear Hasani Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation. As per discussion, we have processed a credit for the calls that was made on the account as once off gesture. The call limit has already been implemented on the contract.
Please be advised that the call limit is only a guide line and might go over the limit.
Have a nice day further. Regards Consumer Website Team

Best regards,
