Contract nightmare!

Hi, i took out a new contract with Vodacom on the 11 January 2017 for a Samsung S7 edge which is suppose to be for 24 months. Around June/Sep i requested a change from open line to top up, and this was done, however the consultant never advised that it will restart my entire 24 months cycle. I refuse to pay for a phone for a flippen 36 months or whatever the case may be. I have been with Cell C prior for years and i used to change without any hassle, If that was your policy, why aren't your representatives aware of it, i have to be put on hold for them to acquire such information. Kindly rectify and revert back to my original start date, I have been paying on time without any hassles, please return the courtesy and give me service that i without hassles pay you for!
