Contract I didn't ask for

I got an sms yesterday from Vodacom telling me I signed up for a new package. I called their Customer Care and told them this is false. I did not sign up for anything. I was subsequently advised to get an affadavit stating this and submit it to them. Which I did, taking valuable time from my life to rectify something they're responsible for.

Today I called them again to establish the cancellation of said contract. They were so concerned about process and telling me what to do, not one of the consultants bothered to understand that it's not I that should be doing the running around because they are de*****ing me. It's them that should be running around. instead I get advised to refuse receipt of the errorneous router enroute for delivery (which I have no problem with) but I also have to phone back in 4 days to cancel.

Really? I. Must. Phone. Back? In which universe is it ok to ask the victim to check with the perpetrator if they've done the right thing??

Vodacom, I expect much better treatment, what started out a simple error on your side has caused me to lose time at work and sanity. If you do not resolve this in a SATISFACTORY manner (ie: me having to chase you up) then I will lay a charge of ***** against you and I will publish my story on every single Social Media platform I can think of.

Hi R.Maart,
Thank you for your response. It's just a pity I couldn't get this level of service from Vodacom the first time around. And that it was nesaccary to go down this path of airing the dirty laundry. I advise listening to any recordings to establish where your telephonic customer care support staff might have used opportunities to treat me fairly and with more enthusiasm to resolve the issue. Instead of the passing of the proverbial buck.
Thank you for resolving the issue as well, it is very much appreciated. It's too bad Vodacom wont reimburse me for my petrol or the time I had to take off work to go to the police station to get the affadavit signed.
Regards,
Michael

FYI, I got an SMS from RAM regarding the parcel that is still being delivered today. Interestingly enough it's not even going to my address, it's going to 23 Noriet Road, Closeal Manufacturing. Never heard of the place. Ref: K ********** .
I strongly advise contacting RAM and informing them that the contract is ********** and any deliver of this package will basically equate to theft. As I'm not even at that address and have not accepted any contract and have had to report this you Vodacom and *****.

Good grief, thought this was resolved... It's a month later (19/04/2017) and someone again is trying to courier the device to themselves **********ly this time to address Risis Road CNR Marthas Street via RAM ref: K ********** . I strongly advise Vodacom contact RAM and resolve this matter before someone actually *****s your stuff.
