contract customers not valued as assets, but revenue streams
Yesterday i visited the Vodacom at Clearwater Mall to upgrade my contract on the smart S package.I very disappointed at the following:- 1)the service consultant could not tell me when was my billing date, and stated his computer has log on problems. 2)the upgrade fees of R150. 3)the information transfer fees for one phone to another of R150. Vodacom does not show any interest of retaining customers,by absorbing these opportunity costs, had i known i would have waited for end of my contract and cancelled one time.

06 Jun 2019, 12:55Good Day i wish to inform the Vodacom team, today i received and sms stating that my balance is R637.32.So immediately i phoned the 082 135 number, and spoke to Vusi @12H25,and was told the contract i signed for upgrade was R505.99 and the difference of R131.33 was for the old contract which only expires in September 2019.I was further told by Vusi that the Clearwater Store should have made me aware of these costs, and i must take it up with them. All i can say that Clearwater VodaShop is not honest with hidden costs to customers and are misleading them, which is a bad ***** on the Vodacom name and brand.
