Contract cancelled
On the 9th of April 2014 I got a contract with Vodacom for a tablet with data sim. I received the sim and about a week later got the tablet, however I wanted to cancel contract and therefore did not except the tablet and had it RTS. I wanted to send the sim card back with tablet but was told I was not allowed to send them back together. I never attempted to activate the sim since I assumed that returning the tablet unopened with note to cancel contract and sim return request was sufficient. Since then I have unfortunately misplaced the sim.
Later in the year I found out that I have been black listed due to nonpayment of this Vodacom contract. According to their website, Vodacom offers a contract refund of a product if returned within 14 days of receipt, so I believe I am completely in my right that this contract was made null and void when I refused acceptance of this tablet and requested a courier to collect this sim card.
I tried numerous times to get Vodacom to rectify this but with no luck. The last correspondence was done on the 17th of November 2014 with Philile Dlamini [Email Removed] but with no luck.
What do I do now?
