Contract Cancellations dont exist. Vodacom lies

I have a SIM ONLY contract which I pay R49 a month and I receive R65 airtime and 500MB of data.

Upon trying to cancel the line Vodacom charges me more than R950 which by the way when I do the maths in terms of the remaining months vs the R49 monthly payment... It still equals all the remaining months of my contract and the penalty fee.

Mine is why charge me for all the remaining months and yet I wont receive the benefits of the contract since I cancelled ? Why lie and say you do cancellations when in terms of rand value I still paid all the remaining contract months ? Why am I not penalised a certain amount and then lose the benefits...

If the remaining months of the line amount to around R700 to R800 how do you justify the payment to be close to a R1000 and yet its for cancellation ? That is technically still paying the whole contract off mos...
