Contract cancellation within 7 days

I upgraded my tablet contract on 7 March 2017 at Vodacom Garden Route Mall. I know about the return policy and they also informed me about the 7 day return policy. The device was a complete let down and I was not satisfied at all. On the 10th of March (well within the 7 day period) I returned to the shop to return the device because it did not work for me at all and my work files was not compatible. I got the Samsung Tablet E.

I informed the lady that the device is not what I wanted and I need to return it and change the upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S Tablet. She told me that they don't do returns and I can't return the product and that I must take out a new contract if I want the Galaxy S tab. I phoned customer services and they informed me that because I was still within my 7 day period the store had to take the device back since I was not satisfied.

I then returned to the Oudtshoorn branch (because I already left George and don't live there) and they agreed to contact the Garden route mall branch to handle the return.

It is now almost the end of July and I am still paying for a device that I am not using and don't even have in my possesion! I don't receive any feedback unless I go into the shop and ask and they are just not helping me at all! They keep on saying that they have to do an OBF or the OBF was unsuccessfull and this is becoming completely ridiculous. Why do you have a return policy if you don't comply to it.

The only thing I want is to return that tablet and cancel that contract so that I can get the correct contract.

Dear Vodacom It has been a month since my complaint and almost 6 months since this whole process was started and the matter still has not been resolved! Your one shop just shifted the problem onto the next shop and that shop did not have a clue about what my initial problem was. All I want is for this contract to be cancelled now so that I can take out the correct contract. Is that so hard to understand? I have been paying for a device that I don't have and no one seems to care about that. It is absolutely ridiculous!
