Contract cancellation nightmare

May Vodacom contract was supposed to be cancelled in May 2016. After receiving an cancellation quote from Vodacom an amount of R5600 was paid to Vodacom and contract was requested to be closed. In March 2017 I received an automated voice recorded message that my Vodacom account is in arrears. I phoned the legal department. The consultant said she could not help and that I need to log a dispute with the cancellations department. She transferred me. I logged a dispute on 27th of March and was told to call back in 48 hours and that a credit will be done on the account after investigation within 7 to 14 working days. I phoned back in 48 hours (on the 30th of March), and was told that my dispute that was logged (ref no S4-NFB8F-F83H) was closed but that there was no workflow done on the log. The consultant (Zweli) said that he will escalate it to his teamleader. I phoned the legal department on 3 April, was told they cannot assist and was again transferred to the cancellations department and spoke to Thembani, who said he cant assist me any further, I requested to talk to a teamleader and the consultant told me I cant and need to sort this matter out with the legal department. HOW CAN I SORT THIS OUT IF NO ONE WANTS TO ASSIST ME?????????? If the contract was not closed, and I was invoiced monthly, why wasn't the R5600 not in credit? Where is that money???????
