Contract Cancellation - Incorrect confirmations provided thrice by Vodacom representatives

I called another time I think in August to cancell. To confirm I called thereafter and that request was not recorded thus not processed. I requested the cancellation again, and received confirmation that the last debit order will go through end September 2016.

I have been receiving emails with invoices and statements each month. Sp per the confirmation above and that i had not received and emailed (per normal agreed delivery method) in 10/2016. After the date this is usually recieved I call to triple check cancellation and further debits.

I called the callcentre midmonth October, around 6 pm, and spoke to another Vodacom representative.

I requested to check cancellation, outstanding fees/ invoices (as i did not get an email) and speciffically ask that a deibt order will not be affected from my banking account. The Vodacom representative confirmed that there was NOTHING outstanding and that NO debit order will be processed at the end of October 2016. To ensure this I asked the question again asking if he is sure and he confirmed again by saying, during this telephonic communication, that NO debit order will go through at the end of October or heron as NO further amounts were due and that the contract was in fact cancelled.

A Debit order was processed through my bank account at the end October 2016. Thus contradicting the information received from this Vodacom representative. As such Vodacom is accountable for the confirmations provided to me by THEIR representative/s.

In addition to this I now have recieved, via email, a statment with a new invoice for an odd amount (and a charge not communicated to me)? I request that all these invoices be cleared off my account with it left in good standing and CLOSED.

I do not want this number and simcard thereto with Vodacom linked to me AT ALL please.

I have called today and have been put through to Customer Service then Retentions then Accounts then Customer Care then Contracts then Cancellations. then THEN then THEN hold HOLD holf HOLD waiting my time.

I apologise to each person that answer that I am frustrated and its not them that their colleagues and / or employer has caused this unneccessary waist of time due what I have i had constantly experienced:

- Bad service on upgrade requests.

- Non processing of initial cancellation request by Vodacom representative

- Incorrect information and non communication of contract cancellation details, and any pertanint details, when this Vodacom data contract was requested to be cancelled again.

- Vodacoms actions contrary to that of a Vodacom representative;s confirmations.

Through being persistent and being transferred (to what appears to be an insufficiently staffed call centre with staff that really need their employer to invest invest in their training to ensure effectiveness of the company) I reached a KgomotsoThekiso who assisted me supurbly. The query is still not resolved but she didn't pass the call on to another department. This lady liaised me with humility and respect and I didnt feel like just a number on hold. She checked all data to 'unpack ' all the occurences from the start and allowed me to provide my feedback on each previous Vodacom telephonic comunnication . She calmed me down becuase i felt like there was someone that really wanted to assist and knew what she was doing, how to esculate accordingly with letting me know. I would like to thank her for her magnificent proffessionalism, warmth and accument She is a calm drop in a very rough ocean that Vodacom appears to be with, I belive, the majority of their clients. I refer to the mid contract automatic increase that was implemented and thus A CPA regulation states that a company may alter the prices relating to a existing contract, provided the consumer has the right to cancel.

I WANT OUT, I WANT MY CANCELLATION TO BE EFFECTED PROPERLY AND PER CONFIRMATIONS AND NO FURTHER LIABILITY BY ME.

Thank you so much Kgomotso I wish you the very best. I do hope that my query is resolved per confirmations by representatives, employees, of Vodacom to me as the client.
