Contract Cancellation Horror!! Worst Call Centre staff
We have been trying to cancel my mother’s since the beginning of this year as she is no longer working and I can’t afford to pay them any longer. We have made numerous phone calls to your cancellations department and have been sent from pillar to post. We were told some contracts were cancelled over the phone and we had to pay for one contract to cancel early. We went to the store and paid the said amount but to our surprise my mother is still getting calls that she is in arrears. How is that possible? We went to Vodacom store at Maponya again this weekend and the lady referred us to the same call centre that has not helped us. We then were transferred to client services because contract cancellation dept could not help our query. We spoke to Khanya Mkhize who refused to help us and also refused to let us speak to her leader Shaun Lalbahadur or even give us direct contact. We confirmed in March that all contract were cancelled on the phone but this past weekend we were told about 4 contracts still being active and thats why she is in arrears. My mother is 66years old and cannot sleep at night because of this issue. Yesterday Vodacom decided to cut her service and now she has no phone to call if she has any emergency because Vodacom ignored all the calls we made, emails we sent to complaints and cancellations department but decided to cut services for an elderly lady who has had multiple contracts with them for over 20years!!
