Contract cancellation blues

<p>My Vodacom contract expires 9 Aug and I want to port my number to MTN - better signal and packages. However, Vodacom will only cancel from 1 September. A year ago I was offered a free contract cancellation because there isn't signal in my area, now I need to stick it out a month longer than necessary. The 9th is closer to 1Aug than 31 Aug. </p>
