Contract Cancellation

I have contacted your contact centre multiple times to cancel two contracts which reached their term at the end of December 2016. The first time I called the contact centre was during October 2016, I was then told that I could not request the cancellation this early and that I should call back the following month. I called back during November & December 2016, January, February and March 2017, each time requesting that they cancel these contracts.

To date, these contracts are still active and I have returned all the Debits that have been processed over the past few months. I refuse to pay for something that I have not consented to and will continue doing so until you decide to actually process the cancellation as per multiple requests made previously.

Last week I received a call from a gentleman advising me that my issue has been resolved and my account will be credited with an amount totaling the invalid debits that have been deducted from my bank account.

In true Vodacom fashion by failing to deliver on their promises, the contracts have not been canceled and converted to prepaid and I have yet again been charged for another month of service. I now have to make way to the bank to reverse these debits and then be plagued with SMS's all month requesting that I pay the outstanding amount.

So my question is, what more needs to be done? How do you guys get customer service so horribly wrong?

My response has now gone unanswered for more than a week.

What needs to be done to get someone to contact me or resolve this matter?
