Contract cancellation

November 2016, I went into a vodacom store at centurion mall. I requested a quote for a premature contract cancellation. The quote amount was R8000. I signed the quote and payed the amount in store. The agent that helped me did not do their job and my contract was not cancelled fully. I went over to cell c and started a new contract with them.

End of Dec 2016 my bank account was debited by vodacom with the amount of R1400. I went into the bank and reversed the debit order to get my money back. There after I went to the vodacom shop to try and sort out this problem. The agent scanned my quote and proof of payment and sent it via email to a manager at vodacom. This was begin January 2017. It is now mid March 2017 and still no feedback.

Yesterday 13 March, I went to VodaWorld in Midrand. I spoke to a consultant and she tried to help me out. She said she will call me once the problem was fully solved. I am still waiting for the call from that agent. According to vodacom statement I received this month, I now owe vodacom R4500.

After going into a vodacom store, after numerous phone calls to their customer care center and after a visit to their head office in midrand my problem has not been sorted out and I owe vodacom R4500. They are only concerned about taking your money and not at all concerned about you as a customer. I will never recommend vodacom to anyone and I am going to try cancelling my wife's contract as well.
