Contract Cancellation

<p>I had a contract with vodacom which ended in October but my sim somehow remained on contractual benefits and upon following up on this was told I need to cancel the contract so that my sim can return back to prepaid. I reguested the cancellation as they have been debiting thousands of rands even though I have refrained from using the sim card and was issued with a ref number. This issue seems not to be ending any time soon, my sim has not been corrected to this date and phoned in today to be to told my cancellation was not processed. I then asked how and was told sometimes they have system problems. I honestly do not expect VODACOM to debit my account this month. Going to log this case with the consumer ombuds as I have tried every simple means possible to pull myself out of this ****.</p>
