Contract cancellation

Never go into a contract with Vodacom, because you will never get out of it. I have a 10gig data contract with Vodacom that comes with a MIFI device. 1 year later, I am trying to migrate this contract to prepaid, because I want to manage my budget a little closer. I also had 2 contracts with Cell C and 1 with MTN. Cellc and MTN cancelled my contracts without any issues, only charging me for the remainder of the device installments, which is more than fair. But NOT Vodacom! They want me the pay out the contract in full!! Their only response to this is that it is a contract!! So, I must abide by the contract but not them? How does that work? Because I must pay the full remainder of the contract but I loose ALL the remainder data!! *** Vodacom!!! This is unacceptable!! I will make sure that all social media knows bout this.

Thanks for the automated copy paste reply. I am still awaiting that call. I am also still waiting for the team lead from the retentions centre to call me back, because he/she was too busy to take my call at that moment. "The team leader will call you back within the next 10 minutes". Yeah right! I will be stopping my debit order. Let's see if they will then be interested in contacting me.

Okay, so it has been almost 3 weeks now and not a single person from Vodacom has phoned me. Just shows you how **** their copy and paste responses are on here. I have also Supercharged this review as well as Requested Help and still nothing. This is a very sad day in the consumer protection universe today. Looks like I have to take matters into my own hand.
