Contract Cancellation

<p>I have requested a premature cancellation of my cellphone contract on the 26/01/2016. Vodacom have send me a quote for the cancellation which equaled 75% of the outstanding contract amount. The amount was payed into their account as requested with the signed document, Copy of ID and proof of payment on the 26/01/2016. Vodacom then emailed me back with REF number EC-04OI-3KJ24J stating "We endeavor to attend to all e-mails within a 24 hour period". </p> <p> </p> <p>I noticed in Feb 2016 that the debit orders was not taken from my account, meaning that the contract was successfully cancelled.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now early in June I noticed that I am still receiveing statements for the cancelled contract. After opening the statement I saw that Vodacom has credited my account with the quoted amount paid during cancellation and is deducting my monthly fees from the credit in the account, that is why the debit order has stopped.</p> <p> </p> <p>I started by emailing the vodacom cancellation department on the 12/06/2016 - No replay as yet.</p> <p>Phoned 13/06/2016 REF ********** 14 - No feedback as yet</p> <p>Phoned again 14/06/2016 REF 1- ********** 5686 - No feedback as yet</p> <p>Phoned 20/06/2016 - awaiting feedback as the current excuse is that they have migrated my contract to a Customer 3D system???</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
