Contract canceled after it expired in September, Vodacom still taking money

My wife canceled her contract after many years with Vodacom to move to Telkom. She cancelled in September already and went on prepaid 1 November for porting to Telkom. Telkom ported the number but for a full month no one on a Vodacom number could phone her, but worst of all, Vodacom is still deducting money from her account. I tried to report this in December, but they keep dropping the calls or it just takes to long to get through. I tried again in late December and after spending more than 100 minutes in total on the phone with them, was assured the money would be returned to her account, but what do they do at the end of the month, they deduct it again and no return.

And at Vodacom they don't seem to know what department you have to speak to, I have been transferred to 4 different departments, each one very confident it is the other ones problem.

Now not being a Vodacom client any more means I have to pay for the calls (and my time) to their call center that battles to find someone that can help you or manages to drop your calls. This morning alone I was dropped 4 times and 15 minutes later was told the system is offline.

This must be the worst service I have ever experienced in my life, this makes standing in a 1 and a half hour line for a car's license renewal seem pleasant.
