CONTRACT AMOUNT GOING UP

This is a typical problem with Vodacom. They get a client to sign a 24 month contract and then change the deal after the customer has signed. Yes hidden in all the paperwork ,there is a clause about rate changes. This I do understand but it seems very ONE SIDED in favour of VODACOM. Many times I have seen a better deal advertised after I have signed a contract and upon contacting the call centre I am simply told that I agreed contractually to a 24 month contract at the higher monthly rate I signed up for ,so therefore they cannot REDUCE the price of the contract. How is it then that they unilaterally INCREASE the amount of the contract when it suits them.

I believe that legally Vodacom has the right to change prices ,however in the spirit of good customer service, this should NOT be happening UNTIL such a time as when the contract is RENEWED.

Very disappointed and I feel let down yet again. Please advise asap
