Contract amendments without my approval
I have 2 phones on contract with vodacom One phone they have an mount of R6 99 for contract cover without me knowing on my second phone an amount of R25 00 has been added.. I did not know about this. When I called to enquire the lady told me my contract has changed . I asked her how can you change the contract without me knowing, she said there is nothing she can do contract has changed. I told her I do not agree as I did not sign a new contract that states I will be paying this amount so want my contract to remain the same until my 24 months is finished as I have a budget and I do not want to go over my budget she said unfortunately there is nothing they can do contract can change at any time.
This is against the popi act a company can not just change the contract as it please them, this my money we are talking about vodacom is ****ming us. I am very unhappy after 14 years of using Vodacom. I am left with no choice right now but to leave the network as I can not afford to be threatened by the sales people and be bul**** with my money. For the past 18 months I have been going back and forth with the organisation trying to change my contract every 3 to 4 months what nonsense is this
I am saying inthe beginning we had an agreement that I will be paying for certain amount for a period of 24 months ever since I signed that contract I have been getting calls every 3 to 4 months that you want to change my contract that is not the way to run a business... Secondly during the application process no one explained to me that vodacom will change the price at any given time, I was not informed of this change that took place..
In the beginning You let me signed a contract that an amount of so and so will be debited in my account for such period now you decide you need more money since you have access in my account, you increase the amount without my authorisation it is totally wrong.
If you wanted to change the contract as per your terms and conditions you should have let me sign a new one stating this amount will be debited in my account... Your organisation failed to do so therefore I request that my contract stays the same until my 24 months is finished.
What you are telling me here is that you can decide to increase the amount whenever you want and it could be any amount as it pleases you that is totally wrong..
I did give your organisation access to my account to do what it wants to do when it wants to do it.. It is my money you have no right to take it without me knowing and having signed paperwork.
