Continuing to bill when contract was expected to be cancelled
I have cancelled a cellphone contract years ago but had multiple other contracts, but Vodacom still continued to charge me for the contract that I had cancelled. Because of having multiple contracts, I did not see that the contract that I expected to have been cancelled was still being billed for all these years (probably for 10 years).

05 Sept 2024, 18:36I received a call from Vodacom upgrades today and I expected resolution of the above matter but instead Vodacom wanted to supposedly "offer me a better deal" on my current contracts.
I contacted Vodacom approximately 6 weeks ago and I requested that my contracts (except one) be cancelled and I was told that I need to give notice hence I was offered contracts with a lower monthly premium in the interim and I was told that I can call at the end of September to cancel all the contracts (except the one).
During the call today, I was informed that my contract will expire in 2026 because apparently it was upgraded for another 2 years by the person that I spoke to approximately 6 weeks ago. The consultant told me today that there is nothing that he can do because all contracts have been upgraded for a further 2 years. I demand for the voice recording to be sourced so that you can listen to me telling the consultant previously that I want all the contracts cancelled (except one).
If this is the way Vodacom does business, I want all contracts cancelled including the one I wanted to keep and I will inform my family, friends and colleagues how Vodacom operates (with no integrity).
I also did not receive resolution on my original complaint where I was charged for approximately 10 years for a contract where I had no device and the sim card was not in use but I was still being billed.
Regarding the current contracts, I was informed that most of them are not is use currently but Vodacom still insisted on me continuing with it until the end of September 2024 but today I heard that the sneaky consultant renewed the contracts for a further 2 years.
