Content services (Part 2) and more...

Dear Vodacom

Account #I ********** -8

Me again. Last month I contacted you re. Content services that was added to my data account (the one with the router, which, you know, makes it a bit difficult to send and recieve SMSs) without my consent. The lady who eventually was able to help me, removed the Content services and promised to credit me for the uncalled for deductions on my invoice. Hats off, it was done as promised. Thank you.

But guess what! When I checked my new invoice, the R178.06 worth of Content services was added ... again! As usual I did not apply for it, I wasn't asked to verify whether I want it or not, it was just added. To my data contract invoice. Again, the one with the router, not a phone handset.

That's not all: last month I upgraded my data contract, because according to you I was due for an early upgrade. So why am I billed for my old contract (R227.19) AND my new contract (R437.72)?!? I understand I must still pay for the old router until the 24 month period is over, but still pay for the old contract?

Which bring me to my last complaint: I upgraded online on the Vodacom site. The contract I selected was R369/month for 24 months (10gig +10gig Nightowl). That included a Huawei R216 router. But according to my invoice I'm billed R437.72 for the contract PLUS R35.09 for the router (R472.81 total) which is R100 more than what I app**** for.

SO: 1) please fix the Data services problem and set my accounts to NEVER, EVER receive any more Data services 2) remove my old contract from my invoice and credit me for want you already took 3) fix my contract payment to what I app**** for.

Regards

Jaco

I contact you via HelloPeter, because contacting your helpline is a total waste of time. This way my problems are quickly escalated to somebody who can actually help you.
