Content charges on card that is in router.
I have a sim card contract with Vodacom that is data only that I use in a router. Just by chance I checked the current balance on my accounts and found that the balance on this number was almost double what it is supposed to be. Further investigation revealed that I was being billed for content services ********** a day that I had not subscribed to. I may also add that this is not the first time this happens as it happened on my cell contract before. The consultant has the nerve to say that I must have subscribed to it, now how can that happen when this sim is not in any phone and is data only? Furthermore Vodacom does not refund these charges. This is happening to so many people why can these ********* not be prosecuted and why can Vodacom and other service providers not validate the subscription first by sending a verification pin that has to be entered before such services are activated - ah stupid me they making money from it! Called Oxygen8 and the woman who answers when I asked what business do they do says they supply companies with Oxygen?? NOT. We all need to open cases with SAPS if that will help and get these ******** behind bars. Will Vodacom refund my money?? ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The above is a review I posted last year - this number ********** is a data only contract. Content services were supposed to have been blocked last year by Vodacom, but I am now getting content service charges again. I called them Thursday 20.09.2018 to stop these content charges and refund my money REF: 1# ********** ********** which by then was R30.00 today 25.09.2018 the charges have accumulated to R 55.03 so it was not stopped and it goes on merrily. Can some one please advise on this situation.
