Consumer right violation

On the 04th of May I contact your online upgrades department and spoke to
an agent who quoted me for an Samsung A7.
She sent me the Quote and I noticed the charges on there.
I called her back and she said is was an error and that she will correct it.

She said my new handset will be R289 pm just airtime but the amounts were
not that.

When after a few days I did not receive the new phone I called the contact
centre again and they said it is at the warehouse they are busy porting my
contract to 3G and that it can take up to 7 extra days.

I said ok, I was not happy but what could I do.

After 2 week past by I called them again to find out where the handset is
and they then said that the phone is out of stock and that it.

Yet my contract was upgrade.

By then I was really fuming as I realized she must have sold me the wrong
type of handset at a wrong package.

I also noticed shortly after the upgrade all my airtime disappeared, their explanation was that I subscribed to something in 2009 and 2008. I didnt even have this nr back then!!!!

They then offered that I can keep my current package and could select a new
handset.

I said it fine I will have a look at what they have and if she could call
me back the Monday.

She never called and by the next month when I called in they said that I
COULD not upgrade as my account was in arrears. This was strange as my
husband pays R350 cash and my tablet of R110 comes off my business account.

They said it was because of the 100mb I activated and that is why.
I HAVE NEVER REQUESTED 100MB BUT SEE ON THE QUOTE SHE ADDED IT ON MY NEW
CONTRACT.
I then discovered that my tablet has also not been paid due to the agent
who said it will be debited off my business account but did not load it as
a debit but as cash. I HAD NO CLUE THAT THIS WAS HAPPENING AS I WAS NOT
INFORMED.
I have requested that the 100mb be cancelled several times but No one has
done so!!!!

A TEAM LEADER IN THE ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT THEN INFORMED ME THE REASON THEY
DID NOT CALL ME WAS BECAUSE I WAS R900 IN CREDIT!!!! WHAT WHY WAS I NOT
TOLD ABOUT MONEY OWED TO ME??????????

I have been pushed back and forth in every department there is.
I have spoken to supervisors and managers all who have made empty promises.

I refuse to pay vodacom the arrears due to a mistake made by their staff.

I have even been to the store in Century City where the I demanded to be
assisted also to no avail.

I am currently being held hostage as I would like to cancel my contract as
no body could keep their word.

tI is extremely disappointing that the service provider I trusted has
**********ly done this to my account.

I would appreciate it if the matter can be resolved or otherwise I would
take the matter to court. and will not be paying anything further on this
account.

Your staff is highly unqualified for the job and in all my time with
Vodacom I have never been this degraded and disrespected as I have in the
past few months.

I would appreciate a speedy resolution on this matter.

Today July 26 2016 Vodacom blocked my line because of the arrears they created.

After a 30 minute call with Keagan who assited in unblockign hte line. He also informed me that all queries on my account has been erased and there is no outstanding enquires.

I want this issue resolved and would liek to cancel this contract with Vodacom but cant because of the arrears.
