Consumer right violation
I posted here more than a month ago (06 Dec 2019, 11:43) and never received a response instead I got the following text:
Dear Vodacom Customer. Your service ticket with reference number EC-1SNU-2W8I5C has been closed. Thank you Vodacom.
The same thing happened again last night.
The original complain;
I don't even know where to begin. I had the same problem with Vodacom video tickect since its introduction, but things took an even uglier turn. This pass month alone the following instances happened:
Bought a 150mb (28 Nov @19:22) for your town data and only 60mb was allocated. I had to call the call centre to enquire and the remainder was allocated the next day.
Bought a 150mb(29 Nov) for your town data and only 60mb was allocated. I had to call your call centre to enquire and the remainder was allocated the same day.
I did a megashake (04 Dec @15:46) and received the 500mb Instagram data, couldn't use the data, after trouble shooting with the agent still nothing happened. Did not get my Vodabucks back that were worth R30 of the data I purchased myself instead I was given R8 to buy Social ticket but advised not to buy it as it had a problem.
Yesterday (05 Dec 14:09)I bought 1gig Video ticket ,as it often happens it started acting up, after trouble shooting myself it did work on and off until around 20:30, I had 628 mb of unused data. Called your call centre and that's where things got uglier as I could not go through to call centre. I found that strange but thought it was a technical problem to my surprise or not surprise,( as i expect the worst from you), I asked an agent to call me as Tobi the robot could not assist here is the response I got: We've picked up an unusually high volume of calls from your phone to our call centre. So to prevent ********** activity, we've temporarily blocked your number.I can help you with simple queries so ask me a question now. If you need further assistance, please dial ********** (charged at R2/min).
The audacity to block my number for complaining instead of providing a quality service. I am not angry I am livid as I felt attacked by *********** inept bunch of unemployable (outside vodacom) species. How dare you deprive me my consumer right to complain when I did not get what I paid for. How about you block my number from loading airtime due to unusual higher number of airtime purchases. So you think you are going to keep my money and I should be quite about it. I want my money back and you can shove your apologies up your $$$$.
I am taking this matter further as I will not be deprived my consumer right.
