Consistently poor service and broken promises

• In November 2016 I registered for a contract with Vodacom in store at Vodacom Mall of the South with consultant - Busi

• After a month I was told I would need to get a new number because Vodacom was unable to link my number to the contract - this was after days of back and forth, going into their store twice: Vodacom - Mall of the South. I refuse. I was promised you could link my contract to my number. You are a large telecoms organisation - if you cannot do something this simple how are you even still operating?

• In January 2017 I was called by Busi at the store who advised me that my contract would take effect on the 1st of February - nothing happened.

• February 2017 I had to call Vodacom multiple times, hold for hours at my own cost, be subjected to them transferring my call from one department to the next numerous times. Been provided multiple reference numbers, had matters closed without reason or resolution all for the same query. Unable to speak to team leaders or managers as I've had to wait so long that the call disconnected. Never received phone calls from your staff as promised (Busi, Lawrence, Sia and Namhla from your Mall of the South store and Nonhlahla from your Customer Service department) Eventually, your "stellar" consultants and employees link an incorrect number to my account (ref: A2-65AM-E8X22K) and seem unable to delink it. I would like this number delinked from my account immediately because if I incur a charge for your mistake (amongst all your other mistakes and inconveniences), I will take this matter further. You will essentially be *****ing my money. Like you have just ****** my data. Yesterday afternoon I had +/- 700MB of data available on my phone and spent most of the day connected to wi-fi. At 00:03 this morning I received an SMS from Vodacom stating that my data has been depleted - while I was connected to Wi-fi!!!!!! I do not use wi-fi assist. I also have limited apps that use my cellular data - none of them high-usage apps.

• As a pre-paid provider - your service was respectable. As a contract provider - it seems you are decades behind MTN, Cell-C and most surprising Telkom mobile and your service is absolutely shameful. I would not be a proud employee of your 'organisation'.

• I am more than happy to use your contract device for 'free' (not considering the price of your painful customer service) as is currently the case but I would much rather you do what you promised i.e. delink the incorrect number/contract from my profile, attach my contract to MY number (if you even have the infrastructure/technology/capability to do this) and let me begrudgingly pay you for the next two years after which I will never do business with your organisation again.

• Also - your consultant Nonhlahla had no idea that your mall of the south store existed or what their contact number was. I had to point her to the mall of the south web site - where their incorrect contact details are listed - pathetic that your customers have to help your customer service agents do their job. I am particularly upset with the service at this store. It seems the employees are more concerned with the walk-in customers that they can 'sell' to as opposed customers they have already sold to who need their help. Your people are incapable of solving problems. Absolutely shameful.
