Confused Customer Service

Confused Customer Service

After having had my cellphone ******, i contacted Vodacom to see what different options were available in terms of getting a new phone. After speaking to a lady she let me know that I could look into getting a premature upgrade which would incur some costs and transfered me to a gentle man who told me I could do it but that he would not be able to Quote me. After being transfered to about 5 different consultants, all of whom saying they would not be able to assist I asked that my details be sent to someone who could help me. Once I finally got a call back, the consultant informed me that Vodacom no longer does premature upgrades and that they did not do them in the manner that had been described to me.

Only after approximately 40 minutes did anyone indicate that this service wasa not available. It confuses me as to why the sales and customer services departments are so poorly informed.

Please train the staff better because it is exhasting on customers

In the time since you responded to me I've received calls from Cell C and MTN but nothing from Vodacom.
