Confused Call Centre
On 15 February 2016 I requested Vodacom to change my Identity Number as I believed that my old ID number may have been compromised for ********** activities.

Email from Vodacom dated 15 February 2016 advised me that 'laptop instalment refers to device or handset received'. The response was not related to my email.

My email dated 7 March 2016 to Vodacom asked why my Identity Number was not changed and that the R110-00 airtime that was due to me on 1 March 2016 had not been credited to my airtime account.

Email from Vodacom dated 7 March 2016 says 'Our records reflect that your surname has been updated to James'.

Email from Vodacom dated 17 March 2016 in response to my email dated 17 March 2016. Zukiswa called me and advised me that the matter about my Identity Number had been escalated. Also told me that she had raised a query with the airtime allocation to their IT department and would revert back to me. No feedback

They say that airtime can only be carried over for five months. Not advised of this at the time of signing of the contract. Vodacom appears to treat their customers with content as they are tied into 24 month contracts

Small Claims action in process re airtime.
