Compliance should be respected

I am extremely frustrated with Vodacom’s persistent and intrusive sales conduct. I currently have several Vodacom contracts, three of which were upgraded just three months ago. Despite this, I continue to receive frequent calls directed at both me and my family, pressuring us to take out additional contracts or accept promotional offers. I have repeatedly requested that these marketing calls and promotions stop, and clearly stated that when my contracts are due for renewal, I will personally approach Vodacom to handle it in my preferred way. Yesterday, I even received an email from a Woodmead branch supervisor named Owen, with the subject line “Upgrades,” offering yet another upgrade and reduced monthly installment. This is deeply concerning. It feels as though Vodacom does not respect the privacy or boundaries of its clients, as my contact details appear to be freely circulated among agents and sales teams who continuously push products I neither requested nor need. I already have active, recently upgraded contracts. This level of aggressive marketing is excessive and feels like harassment. There seems to be no respect for customer preferences or requests to opt out of promotions — from call centre agents, to sales teams, and now even supervisors. I am formally requesting that Vodacom stop all promotional calls, emails, and sales contact to my numbers and details with immediate effect.
