Complex cancelation process get Vodacom to make more money, milking customers
What a mission to cancel any contract after the expiry contract date. You have to cancel a month in advance PLUS call them again on the date of expiry, making sure they get another month payment... Millions of customers each one with an extra month payment calculates to serious financial benefits, just another way to mistreat customers!

08 Jun 2021, 10:36As I mentioned during our discussion, I confirmed my cancellation at the end of month 23 of the 24 month contract and the cancellations department does NOT log this on the Vodacom system! They again did not log the information when I cancelled in month 24! They only cancelled the contract when I called a third time to cancel in month 25. Their excuse is simply that their system only indicates that I called them the third time, and they walk away, blaming the customer!? My advice; Never sign a contract with Vodacom... or expect to pay for extra months
