Complaint Regarding Unacceptable Service and Treatment

Hello Peter, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable treatment and service I have received as a Vodacom client. The issues I have experienced have not only caused significant inconvenience but have also had severe implications on my daily life and productivity. I trust that by bringing these matters to your attention, a resolution can be reached and necessary actions can be taken to prevent similar occurrences in the future. Blacklisting and Falsely Given Date: I was dismayed to discover that my phone, a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10s, was blacklisted without my consent, and to make matters worse, the blacklisting was falsely dated as 23 March 2023. It is important to note that I have been using this phone for the past 5 years and have never reported it as missing or lost. The only phones I have reported as lost are the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and a Samsung A23, both of which occurred in the year 2023. This inaccurate blacklisting has caused me unnecessary distress and inconvenience, and I expect Vodacom to rectify this error immediately and provide an explanation for the unjust actions taken against my device. Sim Card Issues and Network Connectivity: Despite reporting sim card issues on numerous occasions, I have received no assistance or resolution from Vodacom Jabulani Mall. The lack of support in addressing these technical difficulties has been deeply disappointing and has left me feeling neglected as a loyal customer. Furthermore, my phone abruptly stopped receiving calls and connecting to the network at the beginning of June Till PRESENT DAY, which has had severe implications on both my personal and professional life. The severity of this matter cannot be overstated, and the failure to address this issue in a timely and satisfactory manner is unacceptable. False Device Fault Diagnosis: To add to my frustration, I was wrongly advised by service consultants and technicians such as Desmond, that my device was faulty, when in fact, it was not. I have been using the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10s for the past 5 years, and it is fully paid for and owned by me. The inaccurate diagnosis and lack of proper assistance in resolving the actual issues with my device have added to the distress and inconvenience I have experienced as a Vodacom client. Contract End Date: It is important to emphasize that all these issues occurred prior to the end of my contract, which ended on 6 July 2024. As a paying customer, I expected to receive reliable service and support throughout the duration of my contract, and the failure to meet this standard has been deeply disappointing. I urge Vodacom to thoroughly investigate these matters and take immediate and effective action to rectify these issues. Furthermore, I request that measures be implemented to prevent similar occurrences in the future. I trust that you will address these concerns with the urgency and attention they require. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a swift and satisfactory resolution.

Sincerely, Seele Mokhitli ***/ ***
