Complaint - Poor service regarding *****.
On the 25th of January 2018 a debit order went off of my husband's bank account for an amount of R 1 228.81. He has not had any contracts with Vodacom or cellphone numbers. He reported this to Vodacom on the 29/01/2018. Vodacom only responded and gave him feedback on the 18/04/2018 to state that it was confirmed ***** and that the account would be finalized in 5 days . Yet he still receives notifications that his account is in arrears. On the 14/05/2018 he had to give them a call to do a follow up as to what is the progress with his case and could he get confirmation of *****. On the 24/05/2018 he requested them to send a letter confirming the *****, as his documents are being used **********ly and he requires Vodacom to send him the ***** confirmation letter in order to protect his identity with the SAFPS. Vodacom only responded on the 28/05/2018 once again just confirming that it is *****, but no letter. On the 31/05/2018 he had to once again do a follow up to find out when can he receive that letter; to which he was told that Khumo Pule is busy with another case. Due to Vodacom's negligence with my husbands case his identity cannot be protected and more accounts have been opened in his name.
So firstly it took vodacom around 3 months to provide feedback and confirm its *****. Secondly no one gives you feedback unless requested. Thirdly it takes vodacom about 4 months to send a ***** confirmation letter.
Well done on the service @ the vodacom team :)
