Good day

I took out a contract with Nashua Mobile in 2014 and around Oct/Nov that year the Nashua closed and my contract was transferred to Vodacom.

Last week i dropped my handset (Samsung S5) and the screen cracked, I took my phone to your repair centre in Sandton City and Maria confirmed that Samsung will replace the screen as the phone is still within with the 2 year warranty BUT Vodacom cannot book the phone in bacause apparently the warrantly or details relating to my contact was not transferred to Vodacom.

What i dont understand is, if you dont have details of my contract then how the hell are you billing me on a monthly basis.????

I logged a call on Wednesday as Maria could not help me any further and i was advised that it will take about 3 working days for my contract to be send to me via email. Samsung requires proof of the contract in order for them to repair my phone.

i received a reference number for the call logged, ie EC-047W-2XW887 .

I called again today and an agent says it will take up to 3 weeks for me to receive a response.

What sort of turn around times are those? What sort of customer service is that?

Understand something my phone is nearing the end of the 2 year warranty, but the time i receive a response the warranty may expire and my phone may not be fixed because of your incompetence.

just so you know, Samsung's turn around times to repair the phone is far quicker than you finding my documents.

By the way my cell contract was an upgrade that was done telephonically with Nashua around 22/23 Sept 2014.

herewith are my details:

Contract Cell number - **********

i need this matter to be urgently resolved.

Best regards,
It takes you a week to respond, only to tell me i need to escalate the matter. What sort of customer service is this????
Is it so difficult for you to forward my query to the correct person or department??
You have the audacity to tell me to escalation and yet this is a Vodacom issue, then you dont even provide me with the details.
Your response time and service is pathetic.
You are wasting time, i need this matter resolved.
