Complaint

Good day,

My name is Lungile Kamfer, ID ***, cell ***

I recently upgraded my mobile phone to a Samsung A12 during the first week of July 2021, during the 3rd week of July it gave me problems of not wanting to switch on, when I called the call centre they referred me to the nearest Vodacom shop. I visited the shop in 83 Promenade Mall in Mitchell’s Plain where I was told the phone needs to be taken to the manufacture and this will take a month maximum for them to fix this phone. Today I called Vodacom customer care seeking answers in terms WHAT am I supposed to do so long, I use that phone for work purposes, the call was answered by Phumla at 13:24pm who was rude at the beginning of the call because of not listening to my concerns but apologized, she could not give me straight answers and she transferred me to repairs, the call cut afterwards. I now have to drive back to Promenade and ask how far is the phone, and spend more petrol from my own pocket, bear in my mind petrol is up. That phone is still under warranty and I am definitely not paying another cent from Vodacom, for now WHAT AM I supposed to do?

Where is the customer service at VODACOM?

Good day this does not solve any of my problems, I am waiting for a call you said someone will call me, sending each other such messages is out context, customer satisfaction should first through engaging with the customer instead of such replies. In my daily duties I deal with clients on a daily basis, if a complaint is lodged you call the client and understand his problem first not what you are doing. I will be waiting for your call.
