Complaint about wrongfully billed by Vodacom

On the 01/11/2021 I took a 12 month fibre package with Vodacom for R649. At the end of every month, a stop order was put in place to debit R649 from my account. It was a 20Mbps line with uncapped fibre (metro fibre).

As shown in the statement attached, Vodacom has been debiting more money than they should. When spoken to the billings department, they never had a legit reason for debiting the inappropriate amounts and would apologize and make the reversal into my account. In February 2022, the amount they had debited was so big, when queried with the Vodacom call center agent, she had advised me to go to the bank and make the reversal on my side. Due to their negligence this has been an inconvenience to me hence I had put a stop to the stop order and paid Vodacom diligently on the 25th of every month going forward from March 2022. I have statements to prove this. Vodacom was aware of this change of payment. If there was an issues made with this change, Vodacom should have informed me earlier instead of the last month of the contract.

At the beginning of the month October 2022, Vodacom had deleted my account due to being in arrears of R783,45. When queried, this amount is outstanding due to Vodacom trying to take out money from my account and it bounced back.

I find it dissatisfying that I had to go through the whole month of October 2022 without any fibre connection, yet I paid for the month.

I would be highly grateful if you could look into the matter and make an arrangement for my account to be deleted without me paying Vodacom due to their negligence and wrongfully billing.
