Complaint

I have a dissatisfaction based on how Vodacom is operating their Contract services . I had an existing contract for an iPhone 7. I wanted to take out a 2nd contract for an iPhone XR but I had to first pay the outstanding balance roughly R6000 for the existing contract . I settled the account and it was cancelled , then I was able to successfully take out the contract which I pay R650 for 36 months . This occurred during December On a certain around July 2019 it came to my attention that Vodacom is debiting a fluctuating amount of R1200-R1300 . I consulted the Vodacom Branch at Thavhani Mall on the 17th of September and enquired about the deductions. After a few phone calls with the consultant from the Head Office , I was then told that the complaint has been logged and they will give me the feedback after 48 hours. After the time period mentioned I then went back to the branch and to my surprise i was told that the R6000 that I paid out during the course of December 2018 , was being divided amongst the two accounts meaning that the 1st existing account was not cancelled hence Vodacom was deducting the amount agreed on for the 2nd account every month up until July 2019. I am then told that Vodacom acknowledges the mistake but I will not be credited instead the money will be used to pay off the outstanding balance of R700 into the old 1st account which totally makes no sense . I have called the consultants many times but I’m getting a response that the Manager is in a meeting or the Team Leader has “ just stepped out “ of which I see that as Vodacom trying stray me away . I am totally not pleased with Vodacom’s customer care contract service and I totally can not accept it . I surely need clearance and resolution to this matter at hand . Contact Details : *** Ref ***
