Complaint
I purchased a handset on contract at Clear Water mall Vodacom store in December 2013. The contract agreement was R458.96 for 24 months which I successfully paid off in December 2015. I was also given a contract sim card of which i never used. I specifically told the consultant who assisted me that I don't want the contract sim card and only want to pay for the handset. The consultant advised that I will have to keep the card as it came with the handset. However if the sim card is not used I will only be charged for the handset. I destroyed the contract sim card on the same day I received the handsetI asked the consultant if I have to come to the store or contact Vodacom for contract cancellation at end of the 24 months, he told me I didn't have to do any of the two as the EFT debit order will automatically stop when the contract ends.In January, February and March R209.00 was debited by Vodacom from my bank account, which makes it a total of R627.00. I contacted Vodacom on the 11 March spoke to an Agent (Gloria) who's team leader (Judith) gave me a Ref no: A2-1LLK-3YG18K.I was told what the debit was for, only to find out that my contract was not cancelled and I was being charged
