Complaint

There is not a - else I would have rated Vodacom in minus. My mom has a prepaid number which she buys airtime for. She loads the airtime and switches the phone off. When she tries to make a call (she usually first checks her airtime) then finds her airtime is gone. Vodacom is clearly aware of this because it is even an option to choose when dialing in. So what happens is that you automatically get subscribed to content service and this is what takes your airtime. You can dial a number to unsubscribe, which we did and it just automatically get subscribed again. Really? So even when your phone is not in use...it actually is. When I call to query this I get told that it is a third party that takes this and Vodacom can do nothing about. Seriously? Thank you. I will let that number just die and rather get another service provider. I will not accept that it is not Vodacom's problem when its Vodacom airtime going. So keep your airtime!
