Complaint

I had a contract for my daughter who was at University, it ended last year. When it ended, I just stopped paying, Vodacom called saying that I should have called them to cancel even though the 2 months contract duration had expired. They told me that I should pay them up untill February this year and the I must call in February to cancel the contract. When I called in February, I was told to pay R22 to settle the account and I did that. It was confirmed that the contract has been terminated. Last week my daughter is calling me, saying that her phone number has been susoended, because I am owing over R600. How? When the contract was cancelled in February. Vodacom's service is really pathetic. I sent Vodacom an email about this yesterday, up to now, they have not responded. I am really upset about this. From Mpilontle Mabengwana My Cell number is *** My daughter's number is ***

Last Friday, Vodacom Consultant called me. She promised to reverse the arrears and allow that Vodacom cell phone number to operate as pre-paid. She told me that was going to be done within 72 hours. But up to now, that has not happened - cellphone number *** is still suspended

Vodacom, what must I do to get a response from you? Last Friday, you promised to reverse the amount and unsuspend the cellphone number. If by end of tomorrow, you have not sorted this - then I'm going to the Ombudsman. I've really given you enough time to sort this, but seemingly you're unable to.
