Last week I walk into a Vodacom shop to get a new contract, to my astonishment I cant do so as I have been handed over to attorneys. But this is from 2 to 3 years ago, when I had paid up my account owned for the phone that I lost I was told it was settled. Why does Vodacom have a collections department if they don't do there job to contact people if they haven't paid in full? Why does it take me to walk into a shop to find this out for myself.
Then when I do a payment and send all documents to Vodacom to clear the problem, I get told its a process and need to wait. What so Vodacom isn't a customer based company anymore? If I need a contract phone urgently because i'm leaving the country but even when a dedicated employee at a branch does all she can to call your accounts and collections department to put a note on the system so she can go ahead an give me a new contract she just gets transferred to the next department and back and forth.
So how long does a person have to wait for Vodacom to actually process a payment and clear a problem.
