COME ON, VODACOM

I was being incorrectly debited for insurance that was organised by Vodacom for a device that was not in my possession anymore and that was cancelled WITH VODACOM, IN STORE WHEN I RENEWED MY CONTRACT, over 2 years ago (I had not had the device and the insurance was being debited incorrectly for a long time before i cancelled it 2 years ago as well - I only noticed i was still being debited incorrectly in-store when i was renewing my contract). Once I noticed that this was still going off my account incorrectly a few months ago I immediately contacted Vodacom again who shrugged off the problem and put me in touch with their insurance department, being Finrite. Finrite acknowledged their / Vodacom's mistake and told me they would give me a refund. This was over 6 months ago. Every time I call to follow up I am told that the amount will be refunded in a month and if not, to call again. I have made countless calls to this institution as well as Vodacom and have not made any progress, have not received any feedback and most of all have not received the money due to me. Vodacom has also tried to get a hold of Finrite to rectify this issue and organise the refund and apparently cannot get a hold of the institution either. Just wondering why I have to suffer financially due to this? Why do I need to practically stalk Vodacom, spend hours on the phone to them and Finrite to rectify a mistake that Vodacom made? Refund me my money please! This is absolutely unacceptable. I want to know why I am the one who needs to sort this issue out with Finrite when the policy was cancelled with VODACOM over 2 years ago. Because Vodacom has not done their job properly, and didn't cancel the insurance at the correct time, however then after it being cancelled in store when i picked up VODACOM'S mistake, STILL didn't cancel the incorrect policy I was being debited for - i need to be pushed from pillar to post. Vodacom do you still maintain that this is not your problem? Seriously, sort it out. You are losing a loyal customer here fast.
